Volunteering in the classroom:
volunteers who are in contact with students (in-classroom or field-trip) are required to have tuberculosis (TB) clearance and complete a Volunteer Application, which you can obtain at the front desk). TB tests are needed every 4 years, and they are not necessary for parents who volunteer at outside classroom events such as Halloween carnival or ACE awards.
TB tests are easily done at a doctor’s office. Some options for TB testing:.
